About the Paper

The Paper is a 36 page tabloid newspaper written and edited by young people between the ages of 10 and 18.

It is edited on this website by an Editorial Team made up of young people from schools and youth groups in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, UK. The team are supported by Mentors from the profession and given training. Reporters can be any young person within the age group interested in writing, journalism, photography, cartooning and graphics. Reporters from other parts of the UK and abroad are encouraged to submit articles for consideration.

The Cambridgeshire Education Business Link Organisation (CEBLO) has launched The Paper with the support of local newspaper groups, Children's Express, public funding and corporate sponsors.

Stories and images must be submitted through a Registered Bureau. These are Schools, Youth clubs and Libraries. CEBLO also acts as a Bureau

An edition of The Paper will be published each term. It will have an initial print run of 100,000 copies.
